Jenny Packham marking anniversary with London Fashion Week show

Jenny Packham is to mark 30 years in business by holding a show during London Fashion Week.

The British designer founded her brand in 1988 and later introduced a bridal collection as well as lingerie and ready-to-wear ranges, with her high-profile clients including Angelina Jolie, Blake Lively, Kate Winslet, Emily Blunt and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

Now, to celebrate three decades in fashion, Packham is set to present her spring/summer 2019 collection in the British capital in September (18), after showing at New York Fashion Week for the past 16 seasons.

"London, for me, is the most creative and inspirational city in the world and our home," Packham said in a statement, according to WWD. "We are looking forward to presenting a collection that reflects this energy and propels the brand into its next decade."

Packham has not yet confirmed a location or date for her London show. But the style extravaganza will tie in nicely with other projects she has on the go, including a line of bridal shoes and accessories for the London-based fashion and footwear brand L.K. Bennett.

The designer will unveil her creations in February, with the collection including 16 footwear styles and five clutch purses, all inspired by the iconic fashion choices of Old Hollywood stars, such as Bette Davis and Vivien Leigh, with a highlight of the collection set to be a pearl-white satin sandal with ankle strap and extravagant crystal embellishment.

In addition to high heels, there will also be flat shoes and pumps with various heel heights, to ensure many brides can be accommodated on their big day.

Packham is also gearing up to launch a capsule collection of bridesmaid dresses for the Dessy Group, with the gowns inspired by the English country garden.
