Mandy Moore seized the chance to really show off her style at the 2017 Golden Globes when she was nominated for an award.
The This Is Us actress stunned in a navy Naeem Khan dress, which was the first outfit she tried, and although she went home empty-handed, missing out to The Night Manager's Olivia Colman, she was a winner in the style stakes.
"This Is Us and I were both nominated, so it felt like a seize-the-moment-type fashion opportunity," Mandy recalled to Variety. "The flowy layers of chiffon and cape trailing behind made me feel (like) some sort of chic superhero. The deep V was new for me, too, and I just felt empowered and womanly."
The 34-year-old went on to list some of her other red carpet highlights, which include the black custom Rosie Assoulin gown she donned for the 2018 Golden Globes, in support of the Time's Up movement, and the marigold-hued Prabal Gurung design she donned for the 2016 Emmys, her "first awards show in a long time".
Last on her list is the black and white layered tulle Carolina Herrera dress she wore to the 2017 Emmys.
"Originally we were thinking of asking them to make it in another colour, but once we tried on the sample, it was undeniable," she smiled. "It was a whole lot of dress, but very much felt like the quintessential 'princess' moment."
The star finished the look with Jennifer Meyer jewellery, a swept-up hairstyle and pretty pink lips.
