Naomi Campbell models new Pat McGrath Met collection
Pat McGrath has recruited Naomi Campbell to help promote details of her second collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Pat McGrath Labs will release The Adorned Collection, a fresh drop of make-up and clothes, to coincide with new exhibition Jewelry: The Body Transformed, which opens at The Met on 12 November (18).
“The exclusive Pat McGrath Labs x The Met The Adorned collection is absolutely legendary and I am thrilled to explore the intersection of adornment and artistry,” McGrath said, reports WWD. “The partnership is a true testament that there are no limits when it comes to creativity and collaboration.”
Fashion's favourite make-up artist originally teamed with the iconic New York museum after the Met Gala in May, and her company is the first beauty brand to be sold at The Met.
The new line will be made up of a special edition of the sold out Mothership V: Bronze Seduction Eyeshadow Palette, a product which reportedly has a waiting list of thousands, Lust: Gloss in Aliengelic and Blitz Gold and long and short-sleeved T-shirts in unisex sizing. Prices range from $38 (£29) to $125 (£95).
Writing next to the video of Campbell on her Instagram account, McGrath excitedly told her followers: “THREE ICONS. ONE DROP. The LEGENDARY @naomi #NaomiCampbell in all her METALLIC MAJORNESS SLAYS in #MothershipV #BronzeSeduction. The iconic eye palette returns in a LIMITED EDITION #PMGxTheMET @TheMetStore collaboration TOMORROW at PATMcGRATH.COM — Sign up now to receive EXCLUSIVE EARLY ACCESS.”
The Adorned Collection, sold at the museum’s store and website as well as McGrath’s own, is available now.
